They have attracted mr murphy's interest.....this trade goes against them....

I love it when threaders speak from a base-line grounded in experience.

I learned the hard way in 1989. A sale of 100 puts on the UAL deal that was supposed to go through at or above 300 (the puts were sold when the stock was 292). I can't quite recall (probably in denial) but it didn't take more than three or four days for the stock to get back to 85.

No amount of rolling or cajolling would have made any difference. Just one of those dumb trades that never should have been.

Didn't know who took the other side of the trade for awhile. That was Mr. Murphy...
