Not after Monica. Treating women like dirt is OK for the Prez. now, up to and including rape. JLA

Tell me, did Monica's affidavit "negate everything" (the one where she said they did not have a sexual relationship). Or would you concede that since Bill was confronted with the blue dress and had to admit it that she did have sex with him? JLA

<<The other problem we have here is that the right has embraced all kinds of stupid charges against Clinton>>

This is true. I haven't forgotten about the Danny Williams episode. Interesting how uniquely the White House stayed out of that one and just let it spin out of control. Its almost like they knew that was going to happen and that it would forever deflate any "real" attrocities perpetrated by clinton. Perfect; if it was a clinton strategy to set up the right and enable him to continue operations as usual I would consider that status quo.

I don't believe in judging by innuendo. There's no innuendo here, Juanita made a flat out accusation.

And nobody is suggesting the impeachment process be started up again. The Democrats had their chance, now they will have to live with the shame of their partisan decision to turn their back on the liars crimes.

Michelle,

>>Before
this I think most would have said that Clinton is a womanizer only, and
this changes things, but again it isn't provable so what can you do?<<

You recognize that our country had it's chance to rid the presidency of the creep when the Senate was given the opportunity to weigh the evidence of illegalities and find him guilty. Now we get to spend the next 2 years being subjected to the liar. Kinda like OJ.....no it's worse than OJ, with him we only have to put up with his profane image occasionally, we'll have to put up with nearly a daily dose of lie upon lie from the Predator in Chief until his term is FINALLY up. Thank god for the remote.

Michelle,

Stepping away from the political issues for a second, have you considered the implications of having a man in the White House that most likely is a rapist ? Think about the moral implications, and consider the enormous responsibilities and powers of the man.

Think back to his attack on the pharmaceutical factory in Sudan, which now appears to be a fabrication, and for which the US Gvt is sued.

Think about his raid on Irak, conveniently happening on the eve of impeachment.

Think about his Kosovo policy, where Clinton led a coalition to bomb both parties into peace.

Think about this Canadian Blood scandal implicating Clinton himself.

The man is accused of rape, he has his attorney declare "That's false", goes skying, and demands that the public not worry.

Please consider the real cost of this Presidency, to you, and to everyone else involved.

You are terrorized that your political enemies will trample your rights if you stop supporting Clinton, but there again, Clinton and his propaganda soldiers have pushed this idea forward in order to shield him.

And this most perverse strategy has worked brilliantly. There you are, and millions like you, defending a man who most likely did comit rape.

The only reason Clinton holds on to the Presidency with such desperation is because he uses it, and abuses, for his personal ends, to smear anybody that threatens him, and to cover his criminal actions.

This man only cares about himself. Please have him face justice and put Gore in charge.

Michelle, >>> I definitely think her allegations are credible, but of course they are not provable, which means this is not grounds for impeachment in my book.<<<

You don't get it. You are a person trained in higher mathematics. Please try to think.

We are not talking about a court of law. We are not talking about a right wing conspiracy. We are not talking about men and woman having the right to have sex in privacy that is free of coercian of any kind. We are not talking about impeachment.

We are talking opinion polls. This is what Bill Clinton lives on. He has you and others like yourself defending him and keeping him alive in the polls.

You and the others are acting like criminal lawyers - defending big time criminals.

>>>her allegations are credible, but of course they are not provable<<<

So what? If you are in a falling elevator, do you have to be an elevator mechanic to know that the elevator is not working?

Why do you feel the need to defend this man?

Are there no others who believe in what you believe and that you could support?

Even if Willian Clinton genuinely share your convictions (which I doubt - and that is another story), do you really want to make that Faustian bargain to have your wishes come true if you let him continue in his otherwise evil ways?

Please, I'm begging you to think.

Sincerely,

Mary Cluney

You said that you don't believe in judging by innuendo. Neither do I, or at least I didn't. But when it comes to the case of William Jefferson Clinton, all bets are off. By his negation of the legal process through his perjury and subsequent shyster manipulations he has shown that innuendo and it's brethren, hearsay and gossip, are just as valid as a sworn oath.

Just one of the many legacies of the Clinton era, along with teaching our children that it's not what you do that matters, but whether or not you have the clout to get away with it.

(Not to mention, he has shown that it's not hypocritical to fund your pork barrel projects by suing those "immoral purveyors of death", the tobacco industry, and still find time to enjoy a good cigar.)
