add me with leroyt to the optimistic side.

let me add a few minor additions to his excellent
list of reasons to be optimistic:

1) somewhere I read (saw) that price to book for berkshire was 1.5 ... contrast that with the lower tier (targets) within the insurance/financial "sector" of 1.7 plus .. and we are potentially a true tiger in the pending solidification (on a global basis).

2) WEB seems to have a vision (what her termed building the rock of Gibraltar.) ... Citizen Buffett is tough enough ... but with a clear vision and certainly over $20 billion in available liquid assets.

3) Silver (star light, star bright, first star I see tonight ...) If silver is in effect double counted and there is not enough to go around for natural needs ... the upside is is tremendous.

4) the high tech myth is pretty much over ... I am not sure what that means ... but I have a strong intuitive feeling it will work in our benefit.
