To Art: re China. The timing of the satellite cancellation and the "human rights" report do not seem to reflect the delicate approach you suggest. And US internal political pressures to be "tough" - meaning posture toughness - are not exactly helpful either. But, suggest all is not lost. As you also suggest, the business people involved seem to have pretty good ideas how to work in China. And even some elements of the US Gov't seem to be able to keep from tripping over their own feet now and then. IMO the keys will be whether the Chinese wish to join the WTO with US support and whether the civilian leadership can work out a way to have CDMA without a Peoples Liberation Army company in control. Among a few dozen other factors of course. :-) Chaz PS Await Ramsey's wisdom.
