$60 would be good -- Heck I'd be happy with $70 by July.

Pentium III is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced.

Try:

pricewatch.com

It says that an OEM P-III-450 is $500 at Components Direct, LLC. Says includes 1 year warranty.

It says that an OEM P-II-450 is $469 at CPU Surplus. Says includes 5 year warranty.

$31 extra hardly seems "waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced."

James - Re: " Pentium III is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over priced. "

No it's not.

It beats the crap out of AMD's 450 MHz K63 which sells for over $450.

Ergo, the Pentium III is a BARGAIN.

Further, IT IS AVAILABLE.

AMD can't sell phantom chips in very large volumes.
