GST,

Another exhausting week watching amzn, and not understanding it at all.

By the way, today I received the book I ordered from shopping.com (for $13 less than amazon.con. $30 vs 43).

Anyway, your projection of amzn at 130 to 140 sure looks conservative, now. Care to raise your target ? For the 2nd day, amzn shrugs off a near collapse of techs to march higher. Does it make sense to you ?

I am out of it for the weekend. But I would like to speculate. You'd think amzn looked real strong today relative to nasdaq. So Monday should be up strong, right ? But it is losing steam and churning. I think all the volume today was day trading, confirmed by the panic early in the day, then the mild selloff at the end.

The fact that nasdaq was down muddies the view. I wonder how it will do if nasdaq is up on Monday.

I don't know about the "few months" part... but the wall is coming.
In the mean time short/long "the trend is your friend" never works for me. I'll continue my short position. This week sounds all TOO good for the i-net... except for a few small details like a tech trend (heading south), higher interest rates (maybe?), semis going into the tank, the overall market over-bought, Apr 15 around the corner, ... my pick for Monday is a nice little selloff in the morning (AMZN, et al). After that AMZN 100 or 200... I really don't care.
