OT...Yup, I have better luck writing puts than anything else. Generally, the folks that make money on options sell them, not buy them. Generally only write them on companies I don't mind owning, and always sell out-of-the-money. Although I get assigned stock peridocally, I support my family of six off my investment income and have been here a long time while watching many others come and go.

Kind of pisses me off though. Just sold 2K shares of CPQ at 43.5 a few weeks ago and I may or may not be forced into another 1500 at around 41. Although I share your view on boxmakers with GTW, HWP and DELL, CPQ has transformed into a much different kind of company. Wouldn't know it from today, but I'm reasonably confident by the time they come due in July I'll be off the hook.

Regards,
