Neal:

There is a Medved QuoteTracker thread on SI - just
do a search for Medved on Subjects.

There is also a Tech Support forum at
clubs.yahoo.com

As for the bid/ask size in QT - QT shows it *if* the
source to which it connects provides that information.
QT does not track it (yet) - do you think it would be
useful to track market depth and how would you plot it?

*disclaimer* I wrote the program.

***OT*** MedVed Quote Tracker

Neal,
The MedVed Quote Tracker is an awesome (free) program that allows you to monitor ALL you stocks in a virtual real-time display, including Many indicators (such as MACD, etc.) It gives you all the bid, ask, hi,low, volume, time, value of your portfolio (sometimes an ugly red color!) etc. One of the statements made is that it did not show the size of the bid/ask. I merely commented that this info MIGHT be able to be worked into the beta program, since the final release is not here. I thought about it, and realized that the' program can only be as good as it's data source, so this info could not be added. (I have it pulling quotes from Datek server, they don't have size of bid/ask either).
The program operates flawlessly, and I have it update quotes every 1 second. I have it give me real-time charts for those stocks I'm currently playing that day (all at the same time). It truly is a god send for those who are tired of clicking mouse on Free Real-Time quotes pages, etc. And best of all, it's free

I hope this helps,
Zen

....and I DON'T own the company, you are all SO suspicious!! :-P
