Great comment JOHN. I just bought more CSCO shares at 97 today.
It is rumored that it will dip to 80. But I plan to hold it for at least 5 years and I don't care. I plan to add some more MSFT and INTC later. From my mistakes before, I learned the only sure way to make money is to hold good stocks for long term.

My three favorites for 1999 are DRIV, EXGP and SLEU:

Digital River (DRIV) is the leader of ESD (electronic software delivery) and an outsourcer of e-commerce technology. Great Internet infrastructure investment with a micro-cap market valuation. Steve Harmon has made recent positive comments.

ExperTelligence (EXGP) has a mere $25 million market cap and has commercialized its patent-pending search engine portal, webdata.com for searching stock info., airline flight info., domain names, last names, SIC codes, etc., and a comparison online shopping and comparison online auction sites. Alliances have been formed with Saatchi & Saatchi, Jupiter Communications and The Terpin Group.

iSleuth.com (SLEU) has a $30 million market valuation and has commercialized its search engine portal, isleuth.com powered by Inktomi (INKT). SLEU effectively searches over 3,000 search engines and offers the iSleuthMarketPlace which provides online comparison shopping for over 300 online retailers and one million products. A marketing alliance was signed with 24/7 Media (TFSM) to bring online advertisers to the website.

John, you left IATV off your list. I think you'll soon see the reason it should be included. If you like ATHM, you should definitely look into IATV and you'll realize it may just be more of a cash cow.

John, though it's not on the list IATV is the winner YTD, +107%.

It's the biggest weapon in the T/TCI/Liberty's internet and digital tv arsenal. They will be utilized with ATHM.

Wondering how you felt about BCST ? Also, I've been trying to choose between CMGI, ATHM, and MSFT at my next stock to own.

At current levels of price, for a long term buy and hold investor, would you have a preference ?
