Perhaps this should have been in ALL CAPITAL letters, since it is a very worthwhile piece of advice. I can still hear my broker's laughter when I said MSFT would soon trade at $500 when I purchased my stock at $50 in the late 1980s. PW.

Without splits, MSFT would now be ..... (Modesty restrains me)

P.S. On another topic, I was in an antique butcher shop recently and the scale was made by none other than International Business Machines. I suppose a butcher scale IS a business machine! Anyway, it goes to show how companies can change with the times -- as they must. The question for investors is "Are they on the right path?" The answer to this question will have a profound impact on an investor's success.
