I used Friday as a chance to average down from my first buy at 17. The fine minds on this thread can't come to a consensus about where we stand, so I'm reasonably optimistic that the next PROG surge will tip me over into the black. Then we will see what earnings bring and whether I should stick around.

Lots of fine stocks were taken out and shot today for no good reason (PROG, MXTR, SE). I went shopping in my favorites. We will see if that was clever or really stupid.

Zeev, this is interesting. The tiny short position on PROG almost disappeared entirely last month. I was expecting a bit of an increase with the big runup in price during the period of 1/15 to 2/15.

Guess we don't have any shorties to help cushion us when the MM's want to pull shennanigans like today.

My eggplants are still very bearish on the SOX, and other tech stocks like PROG will no doubt be carried down, though internuts fared well yesterday even as the SOX was pummeled. I was too busy with semi issues to pay attention to this one, so I am still holding. I was short enough in the semis that losses in this didn't affect me, but I would have been better off if I had not briefly thrown my body in front of the train. <G>

The turnips were smiling, last I heard. I know that when they blush it is bullish, but what does it mean when they smile? Is that extraordinarily bearish?
