I agree with you here Andrew. MM's know that many of the BB stocks fail. So it is to their advantage to short and play around with these stocks. Look when there is high volume and many trades on the ask, the stock moves up a little. When their is low volume and a few piddly trades on the bid, the stock sinks just as fast.
