I don't know much about the selling of assets of defunct businesses, perhaps someone knowledgeable could jump in and provide more info. It seems to me any stock has value in the right hands. Don't companies buy dead companies to gain control of tradeable shares? If someone were to gain control of UMSI by buying say $100K worth of shares, couldn't they take over UMSI, reverse split the stock, rename the company, give it new direction, a new product, say internet widgets, a few contracts, and voila.....price of "new company" shares goes up and they make $$$. All of a sudden UMSI shareholders realize their wallpaper is worth something. Ok I'm dreaming. Earth calling Ben. I dunno, just trying to come up with a reason why there would be accumulation of this thing. Actually, Baker may be doing it himself. Buying UMSI's shares back at bargain basement prices because a new venture is in the works? Who knows?......Ben
