MBT Screen problem. Does anyone else have this happen to their screen?

I fire up Real Tick Three and get my order screen all set up, various windows are all updating nicely.

I may then "go away" from the PC or "go away" to other jobs running on the PC leaving RT3 working.

When I go back to RT3 some times what I see is the data is missing from the various little windows. The Level II will show the colors, but no TEXT. The quote minder window also will be missing all TEXT. Throughout the RT3 display screen it is like this.

If I go to a new RT3 page, same thing. It wont go away.

To fix this I need to EXIT RT3 and then restart it.

My system:
Compaq Pressario 3060
200MHz MMX Pentium
56K RAM
Cable Modem

The problem seems to happen more often when I have more different jobs running, so I am wondering if it might be something with the 56K RAM memory limitation????

Wondering if other MBT clients have experienced this???

Colin

Colin it sure sounds to me like you have delayed quotes.

So you are using ISLD to bid or offer properly, except your quotes are lagged so your order is truly going to lock or cross the market and is being automatically cancelled.

thats what it sounds like and after reading your next post I would say that your realtick page is trying to bring down more data than your CPU and RAM can handle properly.

All this nonsense of bits and pieces of your realtick screen coming and going, is totally out of whack.

Note that Rick was having lots of trouble until he did his upgrade to DSL. It sounds to me that your upgrade needs to be in the CPU and RAM dept.

my best guess anyway, keep us posted,
