Average daily volume is at a 12 month high this month, along with days to cover at a 12 month low. I can't confirm tonight, but my best guess is that these are all time high and low positions respectively.

George,

Wouldn't the short level for ANCR currently be
half of what it was a year ago, since shares outstanding
has doubled?

When a stock splits, the number of shares short will
double. But nothing meaningful has changed since the
total shares outstanding has also doubled.

I would use the number of shares short as a percentage
of total shares outstanding as a more useful measure.

ANCR is now 1.92% short.
....a year ago, 3.58% short.

The Bollinger Bands doing what they do all the time with ANCR. They start tightening for 7-12 trading days on decreasing volatility and volume.I expect we are in this area until the end of next week when the volume should start to rumble again and pick up steam.

The charts and BB's say we are in another downtrend soon or that we are quickly approaching oversold conditions and that the ascending triangle up looks moderately steep. RSI oversold. Stochastics a day or two away from being oversold. Momentum which has been the lowest in about 7 months looks like it turned the corner yesterday.Picking up strength to push the snowball up the hill.Accumulation looking good. The money has been decidedly negative during this correction and also quickly approaching the level where it starts going the other way.

Risk/Reward looks really good to add to my ANCR holdings this week. Just MHO.

When Ancor was losing it kept on losing. Now that ANCR has been winning we will find out if it can continue to do so.
