Conference calls next week are to give the analyst and Bezos a way to admit that the customer growth was 37% lower in the current qtr than expected. Something really spectacular needs to happen in March. After the conferences, we will be back to 87.

and how does that relate to amzn.

Is the book industry going to be a trillion dollar business by 2002, and will AMZN have forced all the B&N superstores out of business by then? In case you didn't know it, B&N superstore same-store sales increased (yes, again) on a y-y basis, just last qtr.

Oh I know, AMZN will selling baby carseats and cribs and strollers from their website then, and WMT will be humbly asking if AMZN will accept a $400,000 check for just one clickable link to WMT's site, on AMZN's site...we'll all be sorry then that we didn't believe Covey/Bezos--but they won't be, because by that time they will have sold many millions of shares, and will be relaxing on a South-sea island...

Impristine,

Did you find out how many zeros there are in a trillion ? I refreshed my math a bit over the weekend......and I think I was wrong, there may be five zeros instead of four....

Can I get a free book too...?
