Market closed down, yet we closed off lows of the week and lows of the day ,, I take this as a bullish sign ,, for short term ,,, yet I believe we will have more volatile days ahead..
The key is downgrades in tech sector,, revenge of MMs on CQP ceo for gloating over DELL revenue ,, yes,, Pfeifer forgets that MMs are all Princeton and Yale network,, big boys live out on Long Island and their grand fathers used to play snookers together going back to the turn of the century ,, America seems very liberal to foreigners ,, like Pfeifer,,,, but old America is more conservative when it comes to family money , they have seen how Brits succumb to their own excessive children,, these yankee old money stick together, CPQ will go below 30s ,, once where it came from ,,
more troublesome are break down of DELL, INTC, IBM , CSCO and LU,, also MSFT ,,a titanic in making ?
At same time I feel ,, internet stocks will see higher highs,, after all where will these tech money go ? Into IBM ? SUNW ? ORCL ? CPQ ? I think not ,,
We shall stick with volatility, trading nets stocks ,,both long and short of it ,, at same time look for that undervalued Russell 2000 stocks we like to play,, look at bloody OMGA.. we had it at 1 3/4 ,, we had it 9 ,, such is a good example,,
PCOR IPO came today ,, and in spite of sell off from opening price where fools paid 60 , at market !!! ,, still closed well above,, the ipo price,, looking at that ,, I can not help my self look at ENPT once more , doing same thing as PCOR,,with proven revenue and earnings,, and head start in market share,, tradig at 6 1/8 .. hmmm
As for our buys we play in and out,, chicken little game,, but also look at stocks like IQIQ ,, and keep your eye on it for right entry,,
Stocks like SATH ,, a rampant hype ,, we rode the hype wave,, as I was pumped by the touts,, still made a handsome 3 point , ,let see if indeed news comes if not ,, we short like we shorted OMGA after going long today,, Always follow them and keep your eyes and ears open,,
I sold C again ,, but we do need some sane stocks such as C BA RXSD et al ,, that may not fly like magic carpet ,, for as a hedge ,, we need our sanity too,,
Again ,,y2k .. keep your eyes and ears open for this secter going into second half,, I read US congressional report on y2k implication,, of recent ,, hearing,, many wise men are saying that we have a dire problem here..
Only Unabomber I see for this weekend is bonds and possible flight of Japanese funds back to Japan for their fiscal reporting,, every march ,, Japanese corporations come to close out last year's books and make reports to share holders,, for this purpose,, they usually turn the currency into yen and also repatriate the money back to Japan ,, this might force more weakness in bonds and rate fears ,, perhaps this is the reason ,, no one in stepping in and buying bonds now.. eventhough it is very cheap,,,, it happens every year ,, like the flight of migratory birds,,, |
