I think you posted that to the wrong person Berney. I just sent a like to the insider sales going on with EBay.

>>>I continue to submit that we are simply in a trading range.<<<

Berney, all trading ranges are made to be broken.

I think the failure this week to go to new highs is significant.

The McCllelan Oscillator had a picture perfect complex bottom formation with rising lows (I will condition that statement that the oversold lows were shallow in comparison to what we've seen in the last year)

We crossed above the zero line the day the Dow went up 200 points and failed to follow thru. This is a significant failure. It means the basing structure in the market is not significant enough to push the market to new highs.

This failure should push the market down in the other direction the create more basing structure.

I've heard several technicians over the last couple of months compare the inverted H&S pattern in the indexes 98 to the one in 97 and target Dow 11,400. In 97 the internal situation of the market was very positive and we had a three month basing structure in the nasdaq to provide a platform for a run.

There is no basing structure here, just fluff.
