victor, It is apparent there were several major factors involved with direct sales that CPQ failed to realize even though they had attempted to enter direct sales before. It is a bit reassuring that resellers still want to push CPQ, but depending how long this debacle continues, it may leave a long lasting bad taste which CPQ doesn't need. HP is hammering away at CPQ resellers to get them to pump HP and to some extent it is working. It seems this action has appeased (at least temporarily) resellers into a let's see how it goes attitude. Good Morning hio
