Daytrading Articles...Regulators Can't Stop This

I'm confident that the technology to participate in the immediate execution of trades is the best thing to happen to the average investor and the experienced day-trader. The initial over zealous advertising of "Become a Zillionaire Daytrading and Quit Your Job," is going to be reigned in very soon, as it should.

Daytrading firms represent a new technology that is like driving a car. When you are 16 and you first get your license, your not handed the keys to a Indy 500 Cosworth. You will probably drive an old clunker or if you are real lucky, your parents will give you a nice new car. When you have years of experience and the cash to burn on a new Turbo Porsche, you may want to buy one.

The Feds are not going to tell you that you can't have one if your parents are stupid enough to give you one when you come home from the DMV with your drivers permit.

In this example, the Daytrading firms provide the Turbo Porsche and the E-Trade, NDB, DLJ, Ameritrade, etc., provide the beginning drivers new car.

The real question here is....When you have the driving experience and the enough money to not miss it, do you want to drive the 72 Buick Skylark or the 1999 Ferrari Testarossa???

I'll take the Ferrari, Thank You.

Good interesting post Joe.

I think that when all the E Trades, etc get themselves set up in every country around the world the kitchen will get a lot hotter. But I suppose if only 5% of daytraders, if that, will ever be any good at daytrading then the other 95% will end up being the fodder and profits for the 5%.....

bert.

ps have a look at INSGY. Good summary, for a change, on Yahoo:
