Maybe Clinton might back Gates and tell his lawyers to lay off a little.

He's already done that once:

This is Microsoft's last best hope.

From far in the background, the whole DOJ case has been along one single design....the fusion of money, politics, power.

I don't for a minute believe the DOJ won't back off if Gate's starts twisting and turning into the arms of Clinton.

Clinton holds an enormous card: the need for BIG brother.

There are so many new and emerging threats to Microsoft that it's the DOJ case is almost laughable.

Microsoft has much bigger problems inside.

Their backstabbing and duping of Chambers - Cisco - is not going to go over well. IBM is one thing. I think Cisco's the last straw. Microsoft needs connectivity and bandwidth-friendly partners. The mometum among the bandwidth/hardware boys has been turning toward Linnux, Unix and Novell.

Nice to see Toy still hanging around these parts.

GO!
