Christine, One of the aspects of y2k, is how prevenient it's ramifications will be.For example,you mention E-commerce for me it's social security recipients.Many of those folks particularly elderly women have only enough income to live from one month to the next.The mail fails for a month and some won't survive.Some won't be able to get their meds.Some won't be able to get food and some simply won't be able to handle the stress.If we have power outages many caregivers simply won't be able to get to their parents,grandparents or other charges.
