Good point. However, once you download your mail fromt the POP server on your ISP's systems, unless the sender askes for a return receipt, they have no knowledge whether or not you opened your mail.

I still acknowledge the problem though. Some of our work addresses have so much crap coming in, I delete a good 80% of it just by looking at the headers.
