Great idea. Let's compliment someone for a change. Which technology publications are doing a good job?

I'm rather fond of both InfoWorld (www.infoworld.com) and PC Week (www.pcweek.com). They aren't really written for civilians, more for the poor guys who actually work in corporate IT. But they are both doing a good job of actually covering the issue. I think that PC Week sent out a 'swat team' of geeks a few weeks ago to actually check in with big Y2K projects and see how things are going. The editor in chief of InfoWorld, Mike Vizard, recognized the extent of the Y2K problem in early 97 and it doing a very responsible job in covering it.

The worst coverage is from mags like Wired and Red Herring and Forbes ASAP and any of the other 'connected' people who are in up to their necks with the current Wall Street mania. They just don't wanna see this crisis looming and spoiling their fun.
