According to the SEC:

Other Securities Act Form:
Form 144
This form must be filed as notice of the proposed sale of restricted securities or securities held by an affiliate of the issuer in reliance on Rule 144 when the amount to be sold during any three month period exceeds 500 shares or units or has an aggregate sales price in excess of $10,000.
Interpretive Responsibility:
Division of Corporation Finance - Office of Chief Counsel

I am no expert but I think most filings identify their relationship with the company but perhaps "affiliate" is all that is necessary.

The individuals in question are the President and the CFO and I would guess the planned sales are option related. Filing the form allows them to proceed with the sale over the next 90 days but they are not required to do so.

If there were a jump in stock price over the next 90 days, it could well be in their best interest to sell some of their holdings for diversity particularly if funds were needed for taxes or new homes, etc.

I think the filings are bullish and I just completed building my position in the stock. I'm now in for the ride over the next several years.
