For myself I would put MBT at a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10 (highest) with regard to short availability.

Of the smaller capitalization stocks which I usually short, I would say that about 40% are available at MBT. I usually try MBT first since they are quickest and then go to my accounts at other brokers where 90% of the time I find shares.

My opinion and experience only.
