Urban Juice & Soda: 7-Up Bottler/Distributor Takes
Jones for Oregon and Washington

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--Urban Juice & Soda Company Ltd. (the ''Company'' or ''Urban''), makers of
Jones Soda (''Jones''), is pleased to announce that Portland Bottling Company, Inc. (''PBC''), a subsidiary of National Brands
Inc. and a US$60 Million revenue
bottler/distributor, has requested and received the rights to Jones Soda for distribution throughout the states of Oregon and
Washington.

Portland Bottling Company is the franchise bottler and distributor for the 7-Up brand for the states of Oregon and Washington.
Consequently, PBC has complete state account coverage which includes food stores, bars, restaurants, vending routes and 36
oth er sub-distributors in those states. In addition, PBC also maintains 5,000 coolers in the two states and directly services
3,600 accounts through its own sales force. The 3,600 accounts do not include the accounts serviced by the sub-distributors.

Portland Bottling Company, in addition to the 7-UP brand, distributes such other brands as RC Cola, A&W Root Beer, Squirt,
Crush and now Jones Soda.
