S, your last scenario is COOL. I own some DO RIG NE ESV MRL and GLM. And that is all i own, at this time (of the Oils). I'd like it a bunch if your scenario plays out. And right now, OPEC is pretty much impotent - we have seen 'meetings' take place several times since October - NOTHING has happened. (yet ?)

Slider, I see where VTS ventured to your first Buy target of 9 7/8's, were you able to buy some?

<<there is still financing out there - and no one - I repeat; ''NO ONE'' is any better at this segment of the game than FLC - period.>>

That is Webster's (FLC CEO's) background (I know that you know this, but others may not). Also, I see that Webster has recently tossed about $2mm of his own coin at FLC shares, buying down from 11 1/8 to 9 5/16 between last August and November.

As for RIG getting blown off, it has the feel of a major fund liquidating its holding -- perhaps the same fund which was liquidating other holdings a few weeks ago (was it Merrill?) is now getting around to dumping its RIG (and perhaps RON). Of course, that's just my speculation.
