I don't know where Bid.Com is going. All I know is this little Canadian Internet company has a good head start in this Internet revolution. I also know EBAY was Cdn.$27.00/share 5 or 6 months ago and they are now Cdn.$500.00/share as of Friday. It took some of the biggest and best companies in the United States 30-40 years to reach that level. There customer to customer Internet auction business only has 2 million subscribers. Bid.Com has 5 or 6 different channels to make money on the Internet. After seeing this CNN-TV special on EBAY, it didn't seem to be any big deal that type of Internet business they have going. If Bid.Com or some other new, aggressive Internet company in Canada tried to set up the same kind of business here, how many canadian subscribers do you think they could scrounge up in Canada's 30 million population?????
