Good post! One of the things that has puzzled me about the book was the authors avoidance of the telecom sector and yet a focus on the Customer service software applications market? The telecom industry seems full of mass market tornadoes (cell phones and high speed access equipment). It seems to me that this ground should be more fertile for hunting early stage gorillas than in Enterprise software? Plus, an average investor can more easily find out first hand about the latest cell phone trends at the corner cell phone store versus trying to learn about Enterprise software unless you work with it.
