Good luck Dawg, only know Watley. Perhaps you should wait until you can go with them. They seem to be the best. I know you are anxious to trade and I wish you well when you get back in.

Dawg,

PM nikko. He turned $1,100 into $100,000 in two months and he didn't have a computer. He has one now. He's a pretty nice fellow and helpful.

Hey Dawg,
And to all on this thread:

Want to make 9.5% in one week? Buy VLSI on monday at $15 1/2. This is clearly an arbitrage opportunity. Phillips offered cash of $17 per share on friday. Obviously, Wall Street is a little weary about this deal going through, but you've got to believe that the board of VLSI would have their #sses handed to them if they reject this offer. I know for one that I would be the first to organzie a class action suit if they screw this up. IF anything there is clearly a possibility of a higher offer, maybe in the 20's. I just can't fathom how these markets are supposed to be efficient with moves like this going on. I would think that at a minimum, Phillips will scoop up as many shares in the open market below $17 until they have near majority voting rights. Let me know if any of you are following this one. Regards, Keith

Lamar, Look carefully at their rates. They're free if you submit a market order. If this costs you 1/16th a point on 1000 shares, you just paid $62.50. If it costs you 1/4 point, $250. In addition, there is a $3.00 postage fee. Give me a break! Isn't bulk rate 1st class under $0.30?

If you want RealTickIII and can pay the data fees, you can try JPR Capital for low fees, but if you are happy with internet trading, Dreyfus has $15.00 fees for online trades. They don't tack on extras for limit orders and have a great options facility. I'm still using Dreyfus with DBC Stockedge Online for my real-time platform of charts, time&sales, Level II, etc.. With 5 trades/month at Dreyfus, the real-time stuff is $62.50/month.

DLJ is the best there is for low volume traders.
I still do a lot of trades with them.
Its very difficult to make a mistake with them.
The software has all of the safeguards built in to prevent things
like a double submission.
