I agree. We need more encouragement, and Greenspan is probably soaking in his tub right now pondering a 25 or 50bp rate cut at the end of March. The market hasn't gone anywhere since the beginning of the year, and it should have already risen 10-15% by now. BTW have found the solution to Japan's economic problem...If Japan would just deposit the entire postal system trust fund into the S&P, Japan could margin the gains and make distributions tax-free to those who spend it (taxing any unpatriotic savers) and their recession would be over in a snap.
