In Canada, Inglis, a washing machine manufacturer, made Browning guns too. I don't know if John M. Browning supplied the design personally, but at least he was responsible for the name.

In those times of great need, everyone pulled together to get the job done. Sorta like MSFT does today when it's under attack. PW.
