SERVICE, SUPPORT, CULTURE, ETC.: I'm no expert, but with these budget models you refer to, is there the same degree of support, warranties, training, etc. that DELL maintains? Making the box isn't the same as serving the market with quality. Seems to me we are confusing DELL's key market, corporate, with individual consumers like myself. For my money, I've taken my DELL profits and bought the best machine on the planet -- the Apple G-3 blue & white tower @ 400 MHZ -- only about $2,900. It toasts DELL in speed, graphics, user interface, and Internet reliability, yet I still love DELL. I could not afford to have a hard drive crash on a budget model while DELL announces yet another split (smile). It's a multipolar world.
