I have plans for some fun things and I'm no longer putting them off. ISh, I think that's such an important reminder! I sang with a boy in college who went into the service and at the end of his term (I don't know what it's called) they gave him a lump sum. He and his wife and their 2 year old daughter decided to stay in Europe until the money ran out; they had a wonderful time. He died in his early 40s of a brain tumor. THe last time I saw them, when he was dying, BJ (his wife) said to me, "There are so many things we didn't get to do; I'm so glad we did Europe together." It made us realize that saving and being practical has its place but so does enjoying life while you can. Maybe we should all eat dessert first once in a while.
