Somewhere on Feelies a year ago i told the story of the tejano visiting the mejicano down on the Baja coast, the mejicano shows him his whole place, the tejano keeps going on about everything being bigger and better in Tejas, the cows, the buildings, the ranch, the hills, everything. Finally they're walking along the beach and spot a 300-pound turtle lumbering up out of the surf. Tejano says 'What the Sam Hill is that!' ..... mejicano replies -

'Ah, Señor ... es cucaracha.'

'Whisperer With An Exclamation Mark' - i'll put my two-bit [canadian funds] vse issue tme up against your otc-bb rihi or your otc-bb aznt for a 12-month term, ¿deal? ..... cheers, all, got to go ..... marcos

This story has no particular relevance, but it is a good story.

Once many years ago, when I was living in New York, I made a brief trip to visit my parents in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Grabbed a cab at about eight in the morning, early for me. As we were going through Central Park, we passed what Hogger would certainly refer to as a Homeless Person clutching a brown-bagged bottle in his hand, trotting along. The cabbie turned to me and said:

"Looka dat, Lady! Dis is Noo Yawk!! Even da bums jawg.."
