eric,
these poles drive me crazy---isn't the sox chart currently on a high pole warning?

and if it is it could immediately switch to a low pole warning--if that it fact happens,in your experience would that toally change it to being more bullish????

on that same sox chart--it had a low pole warning in feb.when it reversed up more than 50% from 375---and in fact it had 2 low pole warnings from 375--both in feb--just for my own understanding--how much faith do you place on poles---and do you think the status of the nysebp influences the reliability of the poles--i.e--when it is bearish like it is now--high pole warnings are more reliable??

thanks
stuart

Hi Eric

after reading about HI/LOW poles, it gave me some new things to think about using that data...

i realize to complete either pole<g>, you have to retrace 50%...so if i understand your post..KLIC at 31 would be the 50% retrace, and based on my read at that time, i might short it there, with sector./market/ etc bearish...and expect it to head down toward 20ish like Wizzie said...

also Eric, if your read is right on the SOX index, then my initial figure of 375 was not correct...390ish to 400 would be the real resistance points...i see that now...and it would fullfill the low pole...

keep those cards and letters coming, because P&F is so much more than just X's & O's......

my regards, Jerry
