GST,

>> I will watch the value of the yen. Any significant strengthening in
the yen and I will expect the bond market to sell off and take the stock market down in a hurry.
<<

By strengthening you mean fewer Yen/$. Is that because Japan will have to pull more $ from US markets to balance their books. Therefore selling stocks, bonds ?

GST, why the macro-management,
why relate it to the internet,
darlings,
why try to short the leaders,
personally i would not short,
yahoo above 161,
but good luck,
funny with the tech wreck,
and money flowing in to amazon,
funny with the tech wreck,
and things still looking good
long term,
with the tech leaders,
intc, msft, not aol, 20 percent off
their highs,
one could argue,
we have been correcting,
churning for 6 weeks,
one could make that argument,
where will the money,
that came out of the mega-tech's
be redistributed,
i'm not smart enough to know,
but i would not buy puts,
on the darlings,
too many people love the internet,
man, don't let your ego hurt you,
on this one....

but the box
maker warning hit the market. So what's next? I still think we could get a counter-trend
rally here.

GST,

There was quite a recovery in the semis and box makers towards the end of thday except the last ten minutes. I believe we will see a strong tech sector in general next week. Maybe it is wishful thinking on my part.
