Private Bruce - Re: "IPREDICT $.15 FOR Q1!! Put that in your pipe and smoke it."

Two weeks ago AMD said they expect a possible LOSS and here you are telling me that AMD will earn MORE than they did last quarter.

Looks like you do your thinking with your ears and mind closed and you mouth flapping in the breeze.

Paul

Bruce,

Re: "Last quarter AMD beats estimates made before the quarter started
... I PREDICT $.15 FOR Q1!!"

Earth to Bruce ... AMD has already said they expect a LOSS. Weren't you
a little "optimistic" last quarter ($.41) ... Looks like that "trend" will
continue. Of course Bruce, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt ... Otherwise
I would think YOU'RE A LOSER. <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef

re: "I PREDICT $.15 FOR Q1!!"

I hope that you are correct; even conservative. But you are probably not. AMD almost always surprises negatively. Brace yourself for even one more negative surprise.

The real issues are speed bins, yields, and flawless K7 execution not to mention getting up a new facility (Dresden) on thin staff. They have a recent, though not uniformly, bad record in all of these areas. Brace yourself for some disappointments that the market may not easily forgive.

Regards,

DARBES
