Peter:

Very interesting piece on AG's re-evaluating the U.S. economic policy.
The spreads on junk vs quality remains the same...the world economic picture is virtually unchanged from Oct. '98. It seems to cynical ol' me that the only thing that's changed is the political climate, i.e. the cloud of impeachment that was threatening to rain on Clinton has dissipated.

Peter, good pieces. Funny how we used to hate Japanese economic hubris in the 1980s, but as soon as we get our turn in the barrel, our unelected officials act even worse.

What is our great example? Allowing debt to expand at a rate never seen before. Oh, yeah, that is something the rest of the world should get behind. <g>
