Thanks for your thoughts on the Device Manager Richard. Will print this out for my DM File. Does seem this is one place to start looking for whence the error messages came.

yeeehawww success thanks to all the great help..
Have 3 monitors runnin on abit-bh6 mb,overclocked celeron,main agp ,ati 8mb,#2&3 ati,pci xpert@play 8mb.
Main problem was irq conflicts,seems we are using all,disabled
wavetable feature on pci sound card..
Thanks for all the help,hopefully i can return the favor but my expertice is plumbing ...
