1. Thats good, but I fail to see the significance of your pissing up this thread with trite ineuendos, I would suggest you go back re read all the press releases for a better understanding of their program. 2. Your experiences are limited to the NWT where it is fashionable to raise capital thru hype and promotion, ie., down to the retail level investors, Rex shareholder base is instiutional in nature, consequently information is directed to capture institutional brokerages. I agree to some extent, more has to be done to disseminate detailed information on their site, and I suspect it will happen given their recent developments. Please see Rex Jan 8 report on their website. Most stock market gains are accomplished with institutional backing, retail investors are fickle in nature, you being a classic example. 3. In regards to their sampling, I suspect a detailed report will be forthcoming when the micro probe work is completed per their statements in a previous release. 4. Here is what is involved with 5000 samples. Each sample is obtained by scraping the surface gravels and winnowing the samples sieving thru a .5mm to 2.00 screen. 20 sq. meters of material per sample. The geochemistry data is compiled. please see their last press release where microprobing results are forthcoming. The screened samples are then reduced to 1kg samples, sent to J.J Gurneys lab in S.Africa, and Felix Kamininsky lab in Moswow to verify results. 2 labs are involved. Usually the occurance of commercial size diamonds (press release) and gem quality references (see Jan 8 summation on Rex website under reports) are rare in samples. Fipke was happy to find a large chrome diopside back in the late 80s. I guess the 1k x 5km gravel emplacement where they reported g-9, and g-10 garnets and surface diamonds is probably an indicator train. Usually when one finds the two it makes some common sense to start exploring that area in detail please see references to 70sq. kim area, and subsequent references to EM work as well. I had to chuckle when you used Winspear as an example to judge Rex, it seems I recall several instances of delayed drill programs, late reporting of material news, how about 6 months on the diamond valuation breakdowns, or how about the delay in Sept of 96 when they had obvious targets to drill but didnt because they valued their amalgamation ahead of shareholders. Or how about the 97 drill program when they delayed that program to hook in some investors, didnt start drilling til late February. Hell Aber was extracting a bulk sample in Jan one year in the NWT so dont tell me there are some problems with the NWT priorities when it comes to retail investors. You brought the subject of comparisions, so I will detail it further, do you think Mountain Province, when they promoted their pipes as being comparable to Aber on their website last year, took to heart the retail investor when they shucked investors into believing their pipes were as good as Aber.? Fact is only one of their pipes has a chance for large stones, (., over 1.0mm) or when they put their snitch on my thread to convince me as well.? It was a heartening and an enlightenment when they finaly released their valuations with ambiguous value ranges. Confirmed my expectations as well. World class, well let me know when they extract a 3000 to 5000 ton underground bulk sample, and then you can start making some definitive claims. Now getting back to Rex, I guess their first target is the gravels, seeing they are close to the surface, easily extracted and cheap as well. Please see Jig plant reference and arrival, and March time frame in press release. Who is in charge of exploration: Thats an easy one, probably Dr. Rombouts seeing he is Mauritania as we speak, and the 19 other individuals on the team, please see previous press release, ie., 4 geologic teams, usually 1 or 2 teams advance ahead into new sampling areas while the other teams refine previous area, maybe that is how they discovered 2 new areas of diamonds separted by several Km, please see press release. Did they discover boulders, probably not given the fact that most of the targets are uneroded with calcrete caps., the gravels may be an exception however. How did they discover the diamonds,. Please see reference to deflation sampling, screening and sieving, reducing concentrates, When are they going to poke a hole, please see previous press release, but I would figure when all the geochemcial data and refined EM work has been accomplished, microprobe picking is completed, they will drill, I think as well a press release relates to those facts. Budget: Well, that is a good question, I suspect they spent 2mil US thus far for sampling, and supporting 20 field personnel, seeing they have recently done some PP with Insiders, and European investors, that it will be announced some time in the future. I know that they have a loan.? Where did you read that tidbit, please see previous press release. Also please see where Serge Muller has completely bought out Carrig Diamond and any rights to Bellesbank, Ardo. I would suspect that the 700 employees are thankful as well. I really fail to see your problem here, but to each his own, goodbye Sincerely George J. Tromp |
