Mike,

>> but I suspect you keep a wary eye on the exit....

From watching the trading during the day, many people have their eye on the exit both long and short. The frequency of panic moves is increasing. The panics used to be all up. Now every day contains a few to the down side. and their magnitude is a few points in a few seconds. Still the up panics are more frequent and their duration is longer. So the bulls are in control.

I think it will stay risky for shorting until GOLDBUG_GURU starts posting again.

By the way, what happened to all the head and shoulders talk? I had all my hopes pinned on that! After intensely gazing at the daily chart of amzn, it looks like next week it could either go up, or ... (ahem) ... go down. I bet you didn't know that!

It does seem to me that since the big drop, the lows are getting lower. Now we need to see whether the highs are also getting lower. No point in lying down on the tracks until we see which way the train is going.
