Kenya,
Thank you. I'm up too late after a busy day. I'm trying to figure out how to make a buck on this swing. I read all the postings of the last two days. You posts have been very informative. The price drop really cut the chatter down and put everyone to work figuring out what the heck is going on.

I heard one piece of information on INTC you might be interested in. There is a theory that a number of companies double ordered chips from Intel. The companies did this to make sure they got a good allotment of chips. Intel delivered the full chip orders. (I was watching this in an airport and didn't get the whole story.) The major thrust of the story was that it has given Intel the impression that there is a bigger demand for the chips then really exists. This is based on the new chips showing up in the secondary market before the OEMs are selling product with the new chips. This will be a negative impact on Intel's numbers down the road. Too many chips in the market relative to demand. I didn't get the name of the rather young earnest individual presenting this theory. How this would be an indicator of demand was not clearly explained. Have you heard anything about this? It really was a little ridiculous to me.

Hitting the sack now.
