<<Christine, this kind of opens a whole new topic for argum...discussion. Just how
much should men respond to provocative clothing that a woman, that he is seeing, is
wearing? When does a little coercion to have sex become too much force, etc?>>

The way women dress is cultural to some degree, Del. All Italian women are not asking for sex just because they prefer to wear tight jeans, for example. Men apparently belive that provocative clothing always indicates a willingness to have sex, but women sometimes just have beautiful (mostly young) bodies that they have either been blessed with or worked very hard on, and want to show them off. I would never assume that a guy in a muscle t-shirt always wants to have sex, for example--he is just showing off his biceps after all that weight lifting.

When does a little coercion become too much force? In my opinion, when a woman says no and is reflecting the same message in her body language. And this can be at any point in a romantic encounter.

Very well said...it is much like walking through an emotional minefield..."flying high in April, shot down in May"

Spin the wheel, Jane!

>>>>>Sometimes I think men feel a little bit like a male black widow spider approaching the female's web. If he plucks the strings just right, he is going to have sex. If not he is going to be lunch. And sometimes, even if he does everything just right, she still kills him when he is finished with his duty.<<<<<<

I don't doubt that you genuinely feel this way. My husband has said much the same to me. Nevertheless, in twenty years, he hasn't been killed.
