This will provide the "backbone" characteristic which will set Ampex apart from other Internet high hype flyers. These "backbone" based revenue streams which will involve measurable profits and earnings contributions should also make Ampex more palatable in the institutional investment circles. it's all terribly ironic...isn't it? imagine DST, that elegant, but prohibitive creature dogged by quarters of diminishing sales will finally see demand pull alongside... and see its profitability become the ballast for this newest, and most ambitious ampex ascent. it's also gratifying beyond words.
