Since MB does not integrate the Island "Book" into their level II, you only see the BEST Island bid and ask. Also, Island quotes are consolidated at each price level so you see aggregate size. You will only see your order on Island if it is the best Island bid or ask.

Lu, isld, most all mm, hides the bid/ask size if the bid/ask are not the best bid/ask. your order is there in the isld ecn and it shows when your bid/ask is the best bid/ask.

SINCERELY, LUANNE holy cow, if you can't find the cap lock key , how the hell are you gonna work your own orders in a moving market? I think you really really really need to find some one within driving distance that you can visit for a few hours and go over level II and how to utilize Real Tick and the order routes. If you can find a trader that will give you a few hours, instead of just stabbing in the dark all alone with real money on the line, I think you will come out WAAAAAY ahead. If you have an open phone line while you are connected to the net. you could learn a lot buy talking to another trader while looking at the same stock. I have given and received all kinds of good information this way. If that is not an option, the next best thing to do, is to get a trading buddy in one of the chat rooms to spend a little time with you. By watching the same stock together, it is really easy to do a show and tell that makes things so much clearer than trying to trade posts here. Nothing beats the real time interactive approach. what is your nick name on IRC ? funk
