KLAC chart is a mirror of AMAT; institutions probably trade them as a basket anyway.

For me, selling BEARX frees up the cash I need to play with CMGI and eventually Q. The more I thought about it, a static, illiquid investment in a mediocre short fund just didn't make sense when there are so many good market-tracking index stocks you can play either way for more gains.

The 1270-point gain I mentioned in paper-trading the NASDAQ in 1998 would equal 63.5 points with Q, or almost a double from its would-have-been 1998 opening of 75 (NASDAQ 1500).
