Been up since 3 am. Just got back from work.
I'll probably take a nap later on though.
(I guess you really needed to know that, eh? LOL)
Gonna do some proper research today to be ready for Monday.
Cheers
Mike

INSGY..ready to ignite....good news expected at Embedded Conference this week...

Insignia Works With Sun to
Revise Brand Strategy for Jene

Final Version, Called Jeode, Available In
Next Few Weeks

Fremont, CA, February 25, 1999 -- Insignia Solutions®
(Nasdaq: INSGY), announced today the upcoming launch
of Jeode™ (pronounced "Jee-ode"), its implementation
of Sun's Java technology for embedded systems. Jeode
was introduced at the Embedded Systems Conference
last fall under the name Jene™. The company anticipates
customer shipments of Jeode by the end of March.

"We've been beta-testing since November with some of
the leading manufacturers of consumer electronics,
automotive systems, data/telecom and other embedded
markets," said Ron Workman, senior vice president of
marketing at Insignia Solutions. "The feedback we've
received has been excellent, with Jeode exceeding
expectations. We're progressing on schedule and are
confident that we will make our previously announced
release date," he added.

Insignia signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
Sun Microsystems recently, which could set the stage for
success of Jeode in the embedded marketplace. "We're
very excited to be working in partnership with Sun,"
stated Rick Noling, president and CEO of Insignia.
"When Sun formally announced its JINI technology in
December, we recognized the possibility of confusion by
the similarity between the two names. In order to avoid
confusing potential customers, we are changing the
name to Jeode prior to the official release of the product
in March."
