"... analysts have turned neutral or bearish ..."

If you have the time, check the price history of CSCO and note the dates of significant bottoms. With these dates, search through the posts on this thread about the same time and notice how often analysts seemed to appear out from under every rock to predict FURTHER declines.

If you had lots of ambition, you'd get the same picture, in reverse, if you checked significant tops too.

Conclusion: Ignore the noise. Pick a price you're comfortable with. Then act, or don't, based on your OWN opinion.

Happy investing, PW.

When you're yelling, you should be selling. When you're crying, you should be buying.

Don't get greedy.

If people in the media knew how to get rich, why do they spend all day working?

Free advice is worth every penny.

Only this: I don't usually worry about what analysts say because their predictions usually come in a week or two after the fact. In other words, they predict the past with questionable accuracy.

Look, Cisco is at a run-rate of $10 billion revenues right now. 4 years from now, they will be at $30 billion in revenues. Don't sell. If this thing dips to $80 or so, buy as much as you can. Just my opinion, but this company is one that can take you to a very rich and early retirement. Good luck!
